I love the way you describe the people and space in such detail. It’s interesting to read about all the diverse approaches to the dance floor itself. I love the ambience the plants give to the space and how it logically connects to the outdoor spaces. How does Nowadays rank so far in the places you’ve visited ?
Thank you for reading and supporting. =) The plants are so wonderful. Makes the place feel cozy and alive.
Good question ... Top 5 for sure. But the top 3 includes Despacio, Berghain, and Pikes. It would have to displace one of those to break into the top 3. Maybe Pikes?! Let's say it's tied for #3. =)
Most of the amazing morning crowd was away at a warehouse rave thrown by some staff and other scene people that day, which is why the dance floor was a bit flat for dBridge. Sunday mornings are usually much more of a vibe.
Just curious — why did you go at 5am if you were so tired that you needed to leave right away for a nap? Why not just skip the queue and go later?
Our tickets required entry before 5. And we had the energy when we queued up. But the wind and cold really did a number on our will to live, plus we needed to pack our bags for the flight home.
This is great. Was literally on my way to Nowadays when this hit my inbox.
Going Sunday morning can’t wait 😄! Very excited by your article ❤️
Will it be your first visit? I can't wait to go back for my second visit.
